The Windrunner scents the gap and leaps before anyone else has felt the air shift. The Horse runs at the same pitch by birth. So you are the one who catches the wind at noon and is already at double speed, the two natures stacked full, seizing the moment at the very top of its arc.
When a gap opens, you are through it first. Nobody catches you, nobody even sees the opening until you are already past, the timing so quick it looks like luck and is not. Restlessness piled on quickness, and you chase the wrong wind at a full gallop, then catch sight of another wind and swerve onto that one halfway, the gift of speed turned into a habit of running before you have checked where.
