Portrait · Bright Flame's warmth can soften that hardness of Frost Edge a little, making the ever-restrained Metal willing to loosen up and show some heat; but press the heat too hard and Metal won't soften, it retreats colder and harder instead, sheathing the blade tighter. Warming soft or forcing hard depends on whether Fire understands that Metal's hardness is a protective coloring.
