Still Depths (Water) × The Lone Swordbearer

They charge in alone, yet read their retreat with every step.

The Lone Swordbearer pushes ahead alone, head down, taking the hard road by itself. Water reads the retreat with every step, the depth turning raw nerve into a run that is mapped before it starts. So you are the rarest of the solo fighters: the one who breaks through hard ground alone and still knows, at every stride, exactly where the water runs back. The reserve turns recklessness into a calculated solo run.

You dare the hard ground no one else will take on, and you take it without backup, which looks like nerve and is partly that. The difference is the read underneath: you know when to pull back, so you never run blind into a wall. Sirius is the brightest lone star, burning by itself with nothing around it, and you walk your own road the same way, except you sounded the way out first. Solitary, capable, and rarely cornered.

Here is the snag the water plants. Overthinking and isolation stack up, and you waver at the edge of the strike, reading and rereading until the moment to cut has already passed. The daybreak waning crescent is the last thin light before the sky goes plain, a quiet end to the night. Some openings have no second chance and no exit worth keeping. Once in a while, make the cut before you have read the way back.
